Oh my, gourd! Fall on the Farm is going to be amazing! Are you totally pump(kin)ed for what’s coming? (Okay, okay, we’ll try to keep the fall puns to a minimum!)
This fall, we’ll have new varieties of flowers, pumpkins, corn stalks for decorating, new events and so much more!
New varieties
We have our first Cosmo blooms open, and more blooms will be ready in the next few days! We have 15 different varieties of sunflowers growing, some of which have already begun opening. We already have several full rows of sunflowers as of Sept. 3. We have also planted several new varieties of zinnias! If you’ve visited us already this season, you know white zinnias have been highly sought after, yet incredibly rare! We are excited to share that we just planted a new variety with exclusively white blooms, and we are looking forward to those blooming around the end of September into October. We have new giant zinnia varieties that have already sprouted and will be blooming next month. We also planted hundreds of gladiolus bulbs last month, and we’re looking forward to their blooms coming soon. Be sure to follow the “What’s Blooming” page on our website for weekly bloom updates throughout the remainder of the season.
Fall decor
We promise you’re going to have a gourd time on the farm this fall! Beginning Sept. 6, we’ll have pumpkins, straw bales, decorative corn stalk bundles and mums available for all your decorating needs! We’ve got everything you need to make your home feel festive and cozy inside and out this season! We'll be launching a fall landing page this week with photos and descriptions of everything we will have available this fall! Stay tuned for the link to that page coming soon!
New events coming
By popular demand, our event calendar is growing for the fall! We have added two additional events for October. On October 17, we are partnering with Rob and Bob’s Fresh Produce Stand to host a Farm-to-Table Dinner. This delicious meal will feature the choice of farm-raised grilled ribeye, strip or T-bone or chicken breast, side salad, baked sweet or white potato and more! On October 16, we will host our second Ladies’ Night Out of the season. Our first Ladies’ Night was held on August 22, and several attendees asked us to host another one because they had such a wonderful time! Be sure to visit our events page for details about either event or to purchase your tickets!
