A fresh season of beauty and tradition is taking root in Bartlett as Old Brownsville Farms announces the grand opening of its first-ever cut-your-own flower field this June.
Set to open in early summer—depending on bloom timing—the new flower field will be open daily and feature a vibrant spread of sunflowers and zinnias in multiple varieties, all grown on-site in Bartlett.
Old Brownsville Farms has been part of the West Tennessee landscape since the early 1900s,
when owner Judy Paine’s grandparents began farming the land. Today, Judy runs the farm
alongside her husband Gene and daughters Malorie, Carlie, Hallie, and Lexie. While the farm has seen many crops over the decades, this is its first foray into flowers—and it’s rooted in the family’s love of sharing agriculture in a personal, hands-on way.
Visitors will have several ways to experience the blooms:
Cut-your-own bouquets right from the field
Buildable bouquets made from freshly pre-cut stems
Pre-made arrangements for quick pick-up
Photo ops designed to capture colorful memories
And a calendar of seasonal events throughout the summer and fall
“It’s a new chapter for our family farm, and we can’t wait to welcome people out to enjoy the
simple joy of picking flowers, taking photos, and spending time together in the sunshine,” said owner Judy Paine.
